1) Histoire de l'Admirable Don Quixotte de la Mancha, Paris: Claude Barbin, 1677-1678, 4 12mo volumes; first edition of Francois Filleau de Saint-Martin's translation; a nice set bound in full contemporary French speckled calf, spines tooled in gilt, endcaps neatly mended, 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 in.

2) Nouvelles Avantures de l'Admirable Don Quichotte de la Manche., Paris: Chez la Veuve de Claude Barbin, 1704, 2 12mo volumes, first edition of Alain-Rene Lesage's translation; illustrated with 17 full-paged engravings; bound in full green morocco, ornately gilt, with inner red morocco doublures, very nicely preserved, all edges gilt; 6 5/8 x 3 1/2 in.

3) Histoire de l'Admirable Don Quichotte de la Manche. Revuë, corrigeé, & augmenteé de quantité de Figures, Brussels: Chez Guillaume Fricx, 1706, 2 12mo volumes; illustrated with frontispieces in each volume and 49 full-paged plates by Jacob Harrewyn; bound in full contemporary speckled boards, nicely rebacked; ex libris Sir Lister Holter of Aston, Warwickshire (1720-1770), with his engraved armorial bookplates in both volumes, an attractive set; 6 1/4 x 4 in.

4) Don Quichotte de la Mancha, Traduit de l'Espagnol par Florian, Paris: P. Didot l'Aine pour Deterville, [1799] 6 parts in 3 octavo volumes; this copy printed on papier velin and illustrated with a triple suite of the 24 engravings; bound in full crushed navy blue morocco by Chambolle-Duru, ornately gilt, with gilt leather inner joints and watered silk doublures and endleaves; all edges gilt; very nicely preserved and housed in custom morocco-edged slipcases covered in marbled paper, 6 x 3 7/8 in.
